She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Kaufmann and Louise Kaufmann; and her husband Jack. She is survived by: her brother Art Kaufmann; her brother-in-law Charles "Chuck" Vincent; her children, James Geisinger (Pamela), David Geisinger (Michelle) and Karen Connors (Patrick); her grandchildren, Nicolas Geisinger, Melody Geisinger and Colleen Martin (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Angelina Servider and Savannah Martin.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Baldwin-Fairchild Winter Garden Funeral Home (428 E Plant St, Winter Garden, FL 34787).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Velma's memory may be made to the Camaraderie Foundation, that provides healing for the invisible wounds of war through counseling, emotional, and spiritual support for all military service members, veterans, and their families. The Camaraderie Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization (Tax ID 27-0593856).
