He is survived by: his wife Lois Hersey of Worthington Springs; his children, Pam Sallie (Timothy) of Lake Butler, Dwight Jr. "Buddy" Hersey (Wendy) of Lake Butler and Karrie Patrick (John) of Lake Butler; his grandchildren, Michael, Brittney (Andy), Brook (Austin), Macie, Chase, Chelsie (Anthony), Treyce, Ryan, Jaci and Malana; his great grandchildren, Aden, Bryson, Gunner, Easton and Adelina; his siblings, Margaret Brannen of Keystone, Donald Hersey (Charlotte) of Palatka, Dewitt Hersey (Helen) of Theressa, John Wayne Hersey (Peggy) of Theressa, Doley Hersey (Mary) of Theressa and Lancin Hersey (Charlotte) of Brooker; and his stepbrother David Newham.
