It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jeanette Rouse of Woodville, Florida, born in Ludowici, Georgia, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Slater and Jewel Slater (Smith); her sons, Willie Duvall, Bobby Duvall and Mack Rouse; and her sister Claudia "Bea" Nitz (Frances "Fritz").
She is survived by: her husband Edward Rouse; her children, Debra Cape, Jimmy Duvall Jr. and Sheila Erwin (Top); her grandchildren, Angela Vega (Danny), Jason Weatherly (Jessica), J. R. Blue (Kellie), Sara Shadrick (Daniel), Audrey Erwin (Michael), Bradley Erwin, MaryAnne Cape, Frankie McNair (Merritt), Heather Pritchet (Justin), Ashley Chastain (Brian), Bobby-Anne Duvall and Sean Duvall; and her siblings, Faye Hodges (Sonny), Sue Slater Stafford, Bobbie Teague (W. H.) and Madison "Bubba" Smith (Bonnie). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who knew her as "Memaw".
