He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Carringer of Blue Ridge and Reba Carringer of Blue Ridge. He is survived by: his wife Vernette Carringer; his sons, Pastor Rex Carringer (Christy) and Pastor Mike Carringer (Christy); his sister Nancy Arp (Rusty); his grandchildren, Nicole Pitts (Nathan), Keith Carringer (Bethany), Kurt Carringer (Rylee), Luke Carringer, Hannah Carringer and Stephen Carringer; and his great grandchildren, Mavrick Pitts and Elliana Carringer.
