Pat McMakin Obituary
We bid farewell to Pat McMakin of Winter Springs, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Pat touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo B. McMakin and Dorothy B. McMakin (Bingaman); his siblings, Mary Strain and Roger McMakin; and his granddaughter Sarah King.
He is survived by: his wife Connie G; his children, Karen McMakin Winkler, Patty McMakin and Shawn McMakin (Terry); his stepsons, Jeremey Hicks and Allen Hicks; and his grandchildren, Jessica Rivera (Blake), Emily Slavin (Kev), Patrick Hicks, Danyel Hicks and Colin Hicks. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore Funeral and Cremation (400 SE 19th St, Moore, OK 73160). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, one of Pat's favorite charities.
