She was predeceased by: her parent Howard Veale, Sr.; her husband Horace E. Pearman; her son-in-law Dan Lee Taylor; and her siblings, Joanne Veale, Judy Veale, Elizabeth Veal Carter and William "Billy" Veale.
She is survived by: her parent Irene Shackelford Veale; her children-in-law, James Leroy, Carole King Pearman of Winter Springs, Thomas Elton, Glenda Pearman of Chula and Sandra Dianne Pearman Taylor of Tifton; her siblings, Howard Sylvester "Buster" Veale, Jr. of Ocala, Randall Veale of Colorado Springs and Joyce Veale Tesney of Opelika; and her great grandchildren, Omie Pate, Lettie Pate, Abby Pearman and Mason Pearman.
