Jon Zern Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Zern (Winter Springs, Florida), born in Keymar, Maryland, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Rochelle Hackett (John R. Hackett), Colette Sears, Sherwood Zern (Linda Zern), Jon David Zern (Laura Zern) and Patricia Joyce (Frank Joyce); and his sister Mildred Harshman of Mt. Airy, Maryland.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made in Jon's honor and memory to Vitas Hospice (vitascommunityconnection.org) and/or American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA).
