It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joanna Pantazis (Winter Springs, Florida), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, George Pantazis and Angelika Pantazis (Martaki); her sister Liza Pantazis-Butera; her brother-in-law Philip Butera; and her niece Christina.

“we remember she became "toh jonakki mahs" in greek - which meant "little joanne of ours" - that our mother called her throughout her entire life. Joanna was such a compassionate soul that in addition to being a lifeline for her own parents - she also visited our parents through their elder years. Both parts of our extended pantazis families have an infinite amount of fond memories that we'll always treasure of joanna - we lived next door to each other for several years - (cont'd)...”
