He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parent Jerry (Catherine Gammon); his parents, Jerry Thomas and Catherine Gammon (McQuiston); his sisters, Lisa G. Smith (Melvin) and Jackie J. Mangrum; his wife Jackie Brooks (Brooks); his children, Whitney R. Gammon, Janelle L. Hartzog, Danielle R. Smith (Joseph Poston), Sean P. McDonnell (Amanda) and Brandon M. McDonnell (Faith); his grandchildren, Breauna, Kaylah (Franklin), Caiden, Shiloh, Daniko and Jodan; and his brother Jerry W. "Peanut" Gammon (Susie). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
