He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Rock Cordell and Nina Elizabeth Martin Cordell of Pigeon Forge; and his son Jeffrey Lynn Cordell. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lea Jenkins of Pigeon Forge; his children, Carroll Martin Cordell "Marty" and Juanita Cordell Griffin; his grandchildren, Katelyn Renee Cordell, Glenn Buckner Cordell (Marty), Leanne Cathrine Almond, Dena Nicole Ray and William Bronson Cordell (Jeffrey); his great grandchildren, Maggie Estell Almond and Raylena Evelyn Ray; and his siblings, Joel Ray Cordell of Thomasville, Virginia Edwina Houser of Sevierville and Bobby Lee Cordell of Jefferson City. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
