Elmer Thomas Buffington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Thomas Buffington of Winter Springs, Florida, born in Union Bridge, Maryland, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sons, E. Timothy and Neil A. Buffington; his parents, Clarence E. Buffington and Hazel Buffington; and his siblings, Ruth Thomas, Ethel Stambaugh and John Buffington.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Stewart (Shane), Thomas K. Buffington (Jenny) and Mary A. Jalbert (Butch); and his sister Doris Chrisman (Dennis). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Park Cemetery (4991 Co Rd 46A, Lake Mary, FL 32746).
