She was predeceased by: her son Charles Edward Oakes. She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth L. Oakes; her husband Carl V. Clayton; and her children, Kenneth H. Oakes of Hogeye, Thell Oakes of Hogeye, Ark, Terrance Oakes, Rebecca Legg and Francine Williams. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
