With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Eleanor Marcantel of Winter Park, Florida, born in Yellow Springs, Ohio, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joffray James Marcantel, Sr.; and her brother Roger Maxwell. She is survived by: her sister Suzanne Thomas; her children, Joffray Marcantel, Jr. (Jency), Brian Marcantel, Evelyn Simek (David) and Margaret Brown (Jeff); her grandchildren, Steven Cockrell (Jessica), Brittany Rizo (Jorge), Joffray, III Marcantel (Megan), Justine Marcantel, Brian Paul Marcantel, Megan Brown and Taylor Brown; and her great grandchildren, Stella Marcantel, John Marcantel, Baby Rizo and Baby Cockrell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations please be made to Advent Health Hospice that we thank for the wonderful care given to her.
