She was predeceased by: her father Victor Manuel Colon-Rodriguez of Puerto Rico; and her siblings, Ana R. Colon-Liberatore and Victor L. Colon (Maria D. Colon-Repass). She is survived by: her mother Candida Rosa Salgado; her husband Max Arvelo; and her sons, Joseph Alexander Arvelo and Luis Manuel Arvelo. She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
