He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia L. Cumbie. He is survived by: his daughter Stacie Ann Colson; his brother Dr. Peter M. Cumbie (Nancy); his adoptive son Steven Wayne Cumbie (Michelle); and his granddaughter Hailey Cumbie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Air Force Association, American Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice.
