She was predeceased by: her parent Mahadayee Singh. She is survived by: her parent Ramnaresh Persaud; her husband Ramesh Kagolanu; her children, Marilyn Sukhai, Sarah Sukhai, Miranda Kagolanu, David Sukhai and Nathan Kagolanu; and her siblings, Monita Ganesh, Crishna Persaud and Ravin Persaud.
