He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his sons, Jason and Newton; and his grandchildren, Rachel and Nathaniel.

Peter has requested that in lieu of flowers, all donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at PulmonaryFibrosis.org.
