She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisa Vega Velez and Felix Rosario Cruz; and her brothers, Felix Angel Rosario and Genaro Rosario. She is survived by: her son Jose Victor Santos; her husband Jose Victor Santos; her brothers, Ramon Rosario and Nelson Rosario; her daughter Carol Lee Rosario (Anthony Rosario); her grandchildren, Damaris Rosario Polanco (Gary Polanco), Alexander Velez (Carol Lyn Velez), Joseph Anthony Rosario (Laura Gwen Koehler) and Derek Santos; and her great grandchildren, Alexander Patrick Velez, Jonathan Anthony Velez, Matthew William Velez, Ashley Lauren Quirk (Jason Lawrence Quirk), Nicholas Gavin Polanco, Madison Grace Polanco and Finn Walter Martin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Because Teresa did everything at her own speed, it took much convincing to get her to agree to move to Florida and she was able to do so right before the beginning of the pandemic.
