She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, L. Allen Morris and Ida Akers Morris; her husband Gary; her sons, Nate (Whitney) of Cartersville, GA and Benjamin (Hannah) of Winter Park, FL; her siblings, W. Allen Morris (June) of Coral Gables, FL and Ida Bell (James) of Atlanta, GA; and her grandsons, Andrew Rupp and Benjamin Brave Rupp. She was also cherished by 18 nieces and nephews; 31 grand-nieces and nephews; one great niece, and one great nephew.
During the isolation of the pandemic, Kay and Gary created a small farm in Black Mountain, raising animals to surprise and delight her family and friends.
