He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hernan and Dorothy Hernan; his son Jon; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his wife Andrea; his son Patrick; his granddaughters, Hannah, Abigail and Emily; his daughter-in-law Heather; and his brothers, John and Robert.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the San Pedro Center (95 Bishop Grady Ln, Winter Park, FL 32792).
