She was predeceased by: her parents, Armando Vargas and Amalia Villafane; her daughter Lissette Rodriguez; and her siblings, Elba Vargas and Armando Vargas.
She is survived by: her children, Julio A. Rodriguez (Noelia Rodriguez) and Lourdes Vargas-Bogardus; her grandchildren, Yovannie Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez, Johanna Guerra, Carlos Guerra, Julio Guerra and Benjamin Woodford; and her sister Silvia Vargas. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel) (3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (2400 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817).
Her daughter Lissette's children (Johanna, Carlos and Julio); speak kindly of their grandmother, often referring to her as someone who made a significant contribution to their well-being while growing up.
