He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ortelt; his stepchildren, Phillip, Matthew Thurlow of Massachusetts, Amy Thurlow of Ohio and Dustin Sanderski; his children, William Ortelt and Krista Ortelt-Pendleton of Florida; and his grandson Brian Terrell of Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
