He was predeceased by: his parents, George Niedzwiecki and Pauline Pedro (Dombrowiecka); and his brothers, Joseph, Alfred and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Josiane (Josie); his daughter Laura Hathaway; his granddaughter Caitlin Hathaway; and his brother Raymond. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
