He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, William, Gladys Whiteside, Alexander and Elizabeth Shewan; his stepfather Dovel Lemarr DeVon (Curly); his stepbrother Dana DeVon (Elyse) of California; his wife Taya Celeste Smith Whiteside; his son Chase David Whiteside of Winter Park, FL; his pet Bella; his parents, Margaret Elizabeth DeVon and William Christie Whiteside; his stepmother Janet Whiteside; and his siblings, Scott of Virginia and Katie Whiteside of Virginia. He was also cherished by 4 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law, 4 nieces, 6 nephews, and lots of cousins and extended family.
