He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sterling Swango and Monda Hott Swango. He is survived by: his wife Glynn Goulding Swango; his sons, Timothy Brett Swango (Stacy) and Shawn Michael Swango (Cori); his grandchildren, Timothy Baron Swango, Alee Blair Swango and Camryn Melissa Swango; his brothers, Terry Swango (Marsha) and Stanley Swango (Sally); and his nieces, Kim Swango, Kiersten Swango and Connie Thurman.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Moffitt Cancer Center or the Humane Society of Winter Haven in honor of Dr. Swango's name.
