He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. W. T. Wilks (Willie) and Lucille Davis Wilks (Edith Nell Thomas); his daughter Donna Lynne Wilks; and his siblings, Ruth Blevins, Mancel Wilks and Bill Wilks.
He is survived by: his sisters, Dean Greene (Kenneth), Faye Brown (Dewey) and Phyllis Mayfield (Don). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Canaan Cemetery (965 Co Rd 1845, Arab, AL 35016).
Instead of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Enhabit Home Health and Hospice, 9044 Hwy. 431, Albertville, AL 35950.
