It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Anderson Bamberg of Winter Haven, Florida, born in Bonifay, Florida, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bamberg and Irlie Muriel Bamberg (Anderson); his granddaughter Mindy Perry; and his siblings, Steve Bamberg of Winter Haven, Florida, Juanita Murphy of Winter Haven and Joanne Coleman (Marvin) of Auburndale, Florida.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Bamberg of Winter Haven, Florida; his children, Mike Perry (Robin) of Mulberry, Tommy Bamberg (Lisa) of Auburndale, Tony Bamberg of Tennessee, Patricia Bamberg of Winter Haven and Susan Meyer of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Samantha Fewox, Jessica Johnson, Mikayla White (Matt), Andy Bamberg (Jennifer), Troy Bonine (Ashley), Lonnie Bamberg (Samantha), Meagan Bamberg, Chasity Moore, Nathan Bamberg (Fay), Melanie Bamberg, Daniel Bamberg, Tony Bamberg, Briana Bamberg, Amanda Smith, Joshua Meyer (Rebecca), John Meyer Jr. (Amanda) and Chris Elledge. He is also survived by 30 great grandchildren.
