He was predeceased by: his parents, George Degeer and Gloria Rounds Degeer. He is survived by: his wife Christy Ensor Degeer; his children, Brittany Hale, Casey Johnson, Tamara Nickerson and Collin Hale; his brothers, Jimmy Degger (Sandy) and David Degeer; his friend Maurice Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Shawn and Shelly Osburn. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (515 Hart Ave, Johnson City, TN 37604).
