He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Buren and Mary Underwood; and his sister Bobbie Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Ella Jo Underwood; his children, Joe Underwood and Elizabeth Ann Reburn (Scott Reburn); his grandchildren, Abby Reburn, Alex Reburn, Katherine Reburn, Claire Reburn and Jack Reburn; and his brother Jerry Underwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
