He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Hayes and Warren Whitten; and his children, Tammera J. Whitten Riden and Timothy Ray Whitten. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Whitten (Moreland); his brother David (Henrietta); and his children, Todd Whitten (Tammy) of Illinois and Angelica Whitten (Jeffrey). He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
