We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2021, at the age of 95, Robert James Sullivan (Winter Garden, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joseph and Celia Deapo Sullivan; his wife Virginia Helen Murphy; his former wife Patricia Gallien; and his siblings, Joseph Sullivan, William Sullivan, Ellen Sullivan Limoges and James Sullivan.
He is survived by: his close friend Dexter; his son Robert D. Sullivan (Joanne Sullivan) of Tampa, Florida; his granddaughters, Tara Larsen (Sean Larsen) of Lakeland, Florida and Pamela Sullivan (Brad Engelbert) of Corvallis, Oregon; his daughter MaryAnn T. Sullivan (Harold Ziegler) of Winter Garden, Florida; his grandson Ryan Sullivan Ziegler of Tallahassee, Florida; his daughter-in-law Lynette Roff of Lakeland, Florida; his stepdaughters, Kathryn Gallien (Ken Hapeman) of Saratoga Springs, NY and Meg Gallien (Bill Hammond) of Saratoga Springs, NY; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Hammond of Princeton and Sarah Hammond (Josh Snyder) of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be planned for later in 2021 in Glen Lake, New York, when Covid-19 restrictions are eased.
In honor of Bob's loving care for both of his wives and his mother-in-law during each of their illnesses, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or a cancer-fighting charity of one's choice.
