He is survived by: his wife Betty; his son Jim; his daughter-in-law Gayle Spears (Reid) of Green Bay, WI; his son Glen; his daughter-in-law Joni Spears (Hardy) of Grayslake, IL; and his siblings, Gene and Glynda. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
