He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Miguel Angel Dones, Puerto Rican, Auriel, Orpha, Suni, Gersom, Abigail, Ismari, Simri and Deborah; his siblings, Auriel, Simri and Suni; and his sons, Michael Dones, Robert Dones and Richard Dones.
In 2007, Miguel was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
