He is survived by: his mother Sara Hancock Smith (Ellen Joann); his daughters, Emily Jayne Justice and Erica Jordan Smith; his grandsons, Hutchison Keith and Baker Fordham Justice; his sister Scottie Lummus; his brother-in-law Stan Lummus; and his nieces, Meredith Biber (Chase) and Liz Ann Hill (William). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Michael K Smith memorial fund at Oakland Presbyterian Church.
