He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward V. Sara and Margaret Sara (Sullivan). He is survived by: his wife Denise Sara (Paparatto); his sons, Matthew Sara and Jonathan Sara; his grandchildren, Luke, Lily, Julianna, Caroline and Natalie; his sister Virginia Weatherford; and his brother-in-law Ronald Paparatto. He is also survived by two nephews; and numerous cousins.
