It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jasper A Smith (Winter Garden, Florida), born in Kissimmee, Florida, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Smith and Alma Smith; his former wife Hazel Hamilton Smith; and his siblings, Netha Clara Smith and Pauline Carroll (Jack).

He is survived by: his wife Quetta; his daughters, Netha Williams (Brian) and Shari Smith; his stepchildren, Danyel Sullivan-Marrero (Ed) and Derek Sullivan; his granddaughters, Alyssa Williams (Mike Daly) and Melanie Williams (Jeremy Meehan); and his stepgrandchildren, Morgan and Nate Sullivan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Point Church of Winter Garden (1208 E Story Rd, Winter Garden, FL 34787).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Point Church of Winter Garden, a cause that was close to Lon's heart and one he would have greatly appreciated.

“I was so sad when I found out that Lon had passed away. Lon and I were close friends graduating in 1955 from Osceola High School, Kissimmee, Florida. Last month, there was an annual Multi-Class Osceola High School Reunion in Kissimmee (Our 70th Reunion). When My wife and I arrived, we found Lon & Quetta and sat with them. Lon and I enjoyed talking a long time remembering our years at Osceola High. Quetta, we send our sincere sympathy for your loss. Donald & Charlotte Young”
