Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Hema leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Pichuswami Virmani; her children, Anita Whitehead (Jay) and Sunita Iyer (Karthik); and her grandchildren, Sara, Leena and Dev.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home (1148 E Plant St, Winter Garden, FL 34787).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Community Center in Hema's memory.
