He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Pickens and Helen Birdsong Pickens; and his sister Martha L. Browning. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Breymaier Pickens; his children, Steven Pickens and Kathryn Pickens of Winter Garden; his daughter-in-law Tina Pickens; his grandchildren, Austin Pickens, Brooke Pickens and Bree Pickens Crawford; and his great grandchild Bella Crawford.

In lieu of flowers, Curtis's family request that a contribution be made in his memory to a favored charity of the donor's choice.
