He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles G. Kurtz and Marie Kurtz; his brother Roy Kurtz; and his son Christopher Kurtz. He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Kurtz; his daughter Valorie Kurtz; and his grandchildren, Lexington, Emma and Dietrich Wochner.
