He was predeceased by: his parents, Andre Alves and Silvia Alves. He is survived by: his sisters, Maria Gomes (Carlos), Alda Goncalves (Antonio), Adelaide Goncalves (Hasan) and Balsemina Martin. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
