She was predeceased by: her parents, Linton Brantley and Mabel Pauline Browning (West); her husband William Russell Chastain (Bill); and her daughter Amy Ellen Chastain. She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Chastain Gufford (Jennifer) and Alison Chastain Brackins (Patrick); her grandchildren, Courtney Catherine of Orlando and Brantley Porter Gufford of Orlando; her daughters, Russell Jackson of Orlando and Reese Chastain Brackins of Orlando; her brother Ron Browning of Destin; and her son-in-law Charles Gufford of Orlando.

Memorial donations may be made to Delta Gamma Fraternity or Windermere First Baptist Church.
