She was predeceased by: her grandchild Amy Hooper. She is survived by: her husband Van B. Hooper; her children, Lynne Hooper Nicoletti of Genesee, Bjorn Hooper III (Kitty) of Punta Gorda and Scott Hooper of Windermere; her grandchildren, Kevin Nicoletti (Kristian), Matthew Nicoletti, Michael Hooper, Jenna Hooper and Kirstin Hooper; and her great grandchildren, Anna Nicoletti, Amelia Nicoletti and Michael Nicoletti.
Joan requested that in lieu of flowers, charitable donations be made to Stella Maris Parish, or to Scandia Village Good Samaritan (for resident needs).
