Brad Marks Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2025, at the age of 58, Brad Marks of Windermere, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Jr. of East Peoria, IL and Mary Ann Marks (Van Houten) of Davenport, IA; and his father-in-law Vern Jackson of Pekin, IL.. He is survived by: his wife Tina Marks of Windermere, Florida; his children, Amanda Marks of Davenport, Jonathan Marks (Allisa) of Atlanta and Georgia; his granddaughter Joanna Marks; his siblings, Greg Marks (Kelly) of Chillicothe, IL, Rhonda Shelley (Bill) of East Peoria, IL and Beth O'Brien (Rod) of Creve Coeur, IL; his stepmother Dianna Marks of East Peoria, IL; his stepsiblings, Scott Bennett of Zionsville, IN, Chris Anderson (Amy) of Melbourne, FL and Heather Anderson (Michael Hart) of East Peoria, IL.; his mother-in-law Millie Jackson of Morton, IL; and his brother-in-law Hank Jackson (Robyn) of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by 14 loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Fundraising for team Gibbs - Memphis to Peoria.
