He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Vega; his parents, Valentine, Jr. Vega and Shirley Vega; and his brother Paul Vega. He is survived by: his daughters, Briana Blakefield (Mark) and Wendi Torkelson (Ken); his grandchildren, Matthew, Brooks and Brynlee; his sister Betsy Judkins; and his nephews, Chad (Jenny) and Kyle (Kyle).
