She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernardo Galarza and Teresa Reyes; her husband Juan Malave; her son Nelson Cruz; and her siblings, Otavia Galarza, Raymond and Enrique Galarza.
She is survived by: her children, Naida Cruz (Carlos Cruz, Jr) of Wimauma, FL, Migdalia Alvares (George Alvarez) of South Windsor, CT, Nancy Zayas (Jose Zayas) of Kissimmee, FL and Edwin Cruz (Yazmin Cruz) of East Hartford, CT; and her siblings, Victoria Galarza of San Lorenzo and Antonio Galarza of Carolina. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Funeral Homes & Crematory (1717 Old Boggy Creek Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34744). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
