He was predeceased by: his brother Michael R. Byrd; his grandparents, Horace, Oneida Douglas and Howard Cook; and his cousins, Daniel Cook and Pewee Mercer.
He is survived by: his parents, Cal Byrd and Laura Byrd; his siblings, Ronnie, Stephen Byrd (Katie) and Jennifer Jones (Bill); and his grandmother Helen Ruth Cook. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the children's ministry at the church.
