He is survived by: his wife Pam Nelson Brooks; his children, Lori Brooks, Terry Brooks and Johnny Nelson; and his siblings, Baker Brooks (Peggy), Joe Brooks, Gail Brooks and Eva Jean Watson (Buddy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
