She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyce David Sweat and Margaret Angeline Killion Sweat; her siblings, Delma Sweat Tatum, Lowell Sweat and Lyle Sweat; and her stepfather Jesse Alderman.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Greg (Martina) of Trenton, FL and Laura Lowrimore (Steve) of Williston, FL; her granddaughters, Emily and Abigail Lowrimore; her siblings, Dell Murdock, Mike Alderman and Steve Alderman (Lisa); and her caregivers, Barbara, Susan, Ashley and Kimberly. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg, the Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases (UF Health), or to Haven Hospice – Chiefland.
