With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph D Driskell of Williston, Florida, born in Plant City, Florida, who passed away on November 9, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Eugene Driskell and Nettie Ruth Dempsey Driskell; his wife Karen; and his brothers, Tommy, Wayne and Carl.
He is survived by: his children, Greg (Martina) of Trenton, FL and Laura Lowrimore (Steve) of Williston, FL; his granddaughters, Emily and Abigail Lowrimore; his sisters, Betty Smith, Linda Sweat and Gwen Gibson; and his caregivers, Barbara, Susan, Ashley and Kimberly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg, the Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases (UF Health), or to Haven Hospice – Chiefland.
