With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Essie Rhodes Hodge of Williston, Florida, born in Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2021 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her husband Chuck Hodge; her son John Hodge, Sr. (Christine); and her siblings, Hubert Rhodes and Pennie Williamson. She is survived by: her brother Morris Smith of North Carolina; and her sons, Eddie Hodge (Julie) of Williston and Billy Hodge (Brandy) of Williston. She is also survived by Four grandsons, one granddaughter and 4 great-grandchildren.
